Title: MC 10 install quits after "Media Center Setup" dialog

I had been running MJ 8 without a problem.  I decided to upgrade to MC 10.  I have downloaded the .exe several times and each time I run it the "Media Center Setup" dialog box comes... the progress bar completes... and then... nothing happens. Has anyone else had this happen I am running Windows 2000 with 1 GB of Ram and 160 GB hard drive. I thought the MJ 8 install might have been the problem so I uninstalled it. Well that didn't help so now nothing is installed :(  Any help would be appreciated.

Try clearing your temp files.

IE/Tools/Internet Options/Temporary Internet Files/Delete Files.

Thanks for the suggestion... but I tried that without any luck

Try disabling spyware / virus checkers.  Sometimes they have unintended effects.

Otherwise, you could try MC 11 from the top of this board.
