The young Norwegian who cracked DVD encryption a couple years ago, was sued and won, did the same a few months ago for Apple's encryption. Yesterday Apple plugged a hole. Today Jon opened it again.

It's one's personal opinion whether you like what he does or not, but one got to respect him for his programming skills.

That's debatable... He wasn't really doing much in the DVD case, he just made a GUI for it! The cracking was done by other people, but since they mostly were in Eastern Europe, they never got them, I think... ;D I think he's just positioning himself for a higly paid job within the DRM police! ;)
