Title: cant play files (they are greyed out) after taging?

hi!

today i started a mass tag update after not tagging for a while. after i tag the files they are colored gray and i cant play then (i get a warning message). is it a new feature i missed or is something wrong?

i now finished re-importing the files again and that also dosent help.... i tried the file itself with other programs and it seems to be working fine. what can this be?

That's just plain wacky!  What kind of files were they, and what was the text of the error message you were receiving?

Also, might it be that the files are set in Windows to Read-Only, and MC is trying to add the tags to the files so they are "locked"?  Try turning off the "Update Tags when File Info Changes" option and see if it still happens...
