Title: Playing a DVD shuts down MC11
Post by: mysixstring on March 25, 2005, 12:11:13 am
I'm having an issue where MC11 shuts down every time I try to play a DVD. I am still able to use PowerDVD to watch DVDs so I don't think I have a decoder problem. I don't play DVDs on my computer often so I don't know when this may have started. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it and thank you for the wonderful software.

I can't really help you there, but I will say that I had no end of troubles (not your's specifically) playing DVD's through MC using PowerDVD's decoder.  I read somewhere that PowerDVD's decoder isn't very friendly about being used in external applications.  As soon as I switched to WinDVD (or just used ATI's DVD decoder) my troubles went away.

Just my 2c...
