Title: Why don't the media keys work?
Post by: modelmaker on March 25, 2005, 05:31:04 pm
This has probably been explained before, but I must have missed it. Why don't the media keys (other than play/pause & volume) work with MC and a standard media keyboard? And is there a way to make them work? Just curious.

Plug these commands into where it says something like 'custom program path' and it should work:

Ignore my ignorance, but where does it say something about custom program path ?

You need to look in whatever software is controlling your mouse/keyboard.  Go To control panel and you should find it.  Then look for assigning keys and look for custom program path.  If you can't assign keys, then you are out of luck if it doesn't allready work.

For play pause type in this command:  mjextman.exe /MCC 10000,0.

I think the rest you can figure out from the above page so you can assign whatever other commads yo uwould like. :)
