Title: MC11: imported tracks not showing
Post by: shAf on April 06, 2005, 05:45:50 pm
I've just upgraded to MC11 (230), and I notice that importing is different from MC10 (and earlier versions of MC11(?)).

From the Windows file explorer, I can no longer select individual tracks and right-clik=>import.  However, I can select a directory and "add files to library".  This would suffice, but I cannot find the imported files in the MC11 files browser "disk location"(?)  ... and if I try to import again, the resulting dialog implies it found no new files (implying they were already added) ... but I cannot find them anywhere (assuming they were tagged properly).

From within MC11, I can no longer browse for a specific directory and import ... It insists I "add a folder"(?)  This is much more restrictive than MC10! ... and does not allow for evaluating and tagging files separate from the main library folder.

Please make MC11 as easy as was MC10 for importing files.

MC11 will import from Explorer if you've got MC set to.  Check the option for "shell integration".  Try rebooting.

You should upgrade to build 232 though.
