Title: MC still freezing when

not connected to internet(dialup).  All the check boxes are unchecked. If I connected to the internet startup MC then disconnected it will freeze after and can not unfreeze

Make sure you do not have any third party plug-ins running

connect to the internet, and let media center connect and allow it to update the start up page.

the only third party programs on my machine are Kings.  This is very annoying thing can't even listen to music.

Uninstall them

ok uninstalling the plugin worked now I will slowly install them and report the one that is giving me problems.

it is prob "UpDate Cover Art.exe"

there is an option you can set to turn it off from going out on the internet and looking for cover art when a song plays.

since this is a 3rd party problem i am closing this thread
