Title: Plugins To MC GMail?

Anyone feel like sending the MC 11 KingSparta plugins and any others you feel useful to the MC GMail account?

Some (like me) are blocked from certain websites.

And, the GMail account can serve as an archive of sorts. There is 2 Gb of space.

Here is the login info to 'read' messages. You can download attachments of course.

You can simply email a plugin if it is not there already.

I was thinking about getting a web host for my site since they have a better connection than this cable modem (512k Upload limit, that would be download for people accessing the site).

When using gmail as a storage drive the plugin called gmail drive (http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm) quite useful. It will basically aallow you to use gmail as a flash drive.

Yeah, GHammer's only problem is that the country he is in blocks entire IP ranges. So if they find something offensive at one IP address, they just block that whole range. So its probably better to just send them to that GMail addy.

I'm game for that. Just those who are going to do it need to have some sort of understanding as to how the files/messages are named to make it easy to get what you are looking for.

I think Marko set this account up awhile ago. It's a good idea.
One stop shopping for all your MC needs.
The plugin page is fine but it is sometimes behind or the links just don't work from here and there. GMail is pretty universal. Unless JRiver wants to host the 3rd party plugins, I think this is the best idea.

Sounds like a plan to me.

So what do you propose?

1-Email whatever you submit to the mailbox. Use a good subject line.
2-Login to the mailbox and either create a label or use an existing one.
3-Use the Archive button in GMail to archive your message.

What could be easier?

Not to mention the fact that almost any thing that comes off a server in the US takes FOREVER to load.

I just logged into the account and there is alot of things that has amazed me about this.....But the thing that amazed me the most is there is 43 invites.... So if anybody wants one.... Go get it!

There seems to be a lot of good stuff there!!
