I am running MC to manage and play MP3s and music videos, but I have an external interface that controls everything through a plug-in (Cinemar's Music Lobby - part of a suite of software for Home Theater PCs and home automation). Whenever I hit stop to end the current song or music video, the current song does indeed stop, but MC (which is usually minimized) pops up on top of my current screen, forcing me to re-minimize it everytime. Is there a setting in MC to prevent it from popping up (eqivalent to windows "restore" function) when it receives the command of "stop"?
I've been told by my HTPC software folks that this is purely an issue with MC, that I'm missing some setting - but they don't know what it is.

I don't know the answer, but did you try the cinemaronline.com forum? There should be people there who are familiar with operating both products together.
Make sure you're using a version of MC that they support.

I've been using their forum for several issues, this being one of them, and they all are saying its a MC issue - that none of them have ever heard of the MC window popping up when a stop command is issued. They figured there was some setting in MC that is causing the MC to "restore" from its "minimized" state whenever stop is issued, and suggested that I ask on this forum.

Any other third party plug-ins or software running?
Have you confirmed on the Cinemar forum that you don't have version problems?

I fixed it. It was a setting in my interface program. Sorry for your time.
