Title: New Theatre View skin
Post by: interbeat on April 21, 2005, 04:42:50 pm
After much experimentation, I've come up with my first Theatre View skin for MC11. The idea here was to create a very simple skin that does not distract the viewer from the artwork in the playing now pane or on thumbnails.

(click the screenshots above for bigger ones)

Download it here: http://www.interbeat.co.uk/studios/mc/Interbeat.zip
(unzip the folder and put it in the FullSkins folder in the Media Centre folder)

It's still a work in progress, so constructive comments are welcome!

One that I made. It does a slideshow of album booklet pages, and also uses a background image unique for each album. However, it does the slideshow using javascript (and uses the file system object), which results in ActivX warning messages each time it is run. The messages can be suppressed by editing the registry, but as that is a possible security risk I've no plans to release it publicly (unless anyone knows a better method of doing a slideshow in a track info page).
