I initially bought Media Jukebox 8, then upgraded to MC 10. I reinstalled the operating system (which I do all too frequently, I'm afraid), but can't find the registration code for Media Center. I have the code for MJ8, which of course doesn't work. I requested an activation code through the web interface, but all I got was another copy of the MJ8 code, not the one for MC10. I paid for the upgrade through paypal, and I can produce a transaction ID or whatever else you need.

I did note that part, and I followed the directions. I received a code for version 8, but no code for version 10. I tried again and I got another copy of the code for version 8. Then I posted to the forum that I had done this. Next, I got a message telling me to do exactly what I had done, apparently by someone who didn't read my post very well. This brings us up to date, where I'm writing again, explaining that requesting a code online does not work, which is why I'm here in the first place. Please tell me how I can activate my Media CENTER version TEN.

I think Gateley was the one that deals with this area.

It's the weekend here, but try a search for paypal and you may find a helpful message from gateley.

Go to the paypal support page:
https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/paypal_support.cgi
and enter your e-mail. This should give you a license and fix the probem.

Aha, THERE's the link I needed. That one returned the right code, which installed with no complaints. And this time I will have the sense to file the code properly. Thanks for your help.

Angelo, you had used up all your restores. I gave you a few more.
Remember, when you reinstall frequently, wait until MC trial mode is almost over before using a restore, that way they should last forever.
