Title: trouble w/bookmarks with audible files

I have 3 audiobooks on my iPod.  When I synch, and use one of the books, if I click the 'enter' button on the iPod to bring up the search window, it shows lines for all the bookmarks.  I can skip from one to the next just fine.  However, after doing this once or maybe 3 times, the lines get wiped out, and I can't skip to the bookmarks anymore.  I can still fast forward, just like a regular mucis track, but the bookmarks just go away.

I might be doing something wrong, but I have no idea what it might be.

Anyone know how to remedy this?
