MC still crashes every time I try and delete an album from the Library Browser. Specifically, I go to Library Browser->Genres->Rock->Albums. Right click on an album and hit "Delete". MC crashes with no error message.
I've seen this for months now but assumed it was being looked at.

When is the crash? Right after clicking Delete, or after the delete dialog appears?
Can you find any rhyme or reason? Any 3rd party plugins running?
Can anyone else reproduce this?
Thanks.
-
I tried and couldn't reproduce. I tried only the "delete from library" option because I didn't want to delete the actual files.
MC11.0.251, P4, XP SP1, no extra plug-ins installed, except G-Force (not running).

I also do not get the crash.
Enter the Library Browser
Click the Albums tab
Right click an album and select Delete
I also just choose delete from library because I don't want to really delete the files.
MC deletes the album normally, no crashes, no errors.

I just pulled this one off with 252. I followed twentworth22's instructions.
I went to Library Browser > Genre > album link from the genre > clicked on the specific album to delete. Dialogue asks what to do "remove from MC" "send to recycle bin" "permanently delete"
I chose to send to recycle bin. The files get send to the recycle bin, but then MC quits. After I restart the files are still in MC but the link is broken.
Seems to happen with LB > Artist > Album link > specific album as well.
Just tried it from root of LB... same result.
Other things of note:
I do not embed my images (use a folder for them)
I am in "Audio" mode for MC and I have selected "View: Audio" in LB
I have nothing else running or 3rd party plug-ins.
Now that I have sufficiently mutilated my library, I think I will do a library restore and call it a night.
I hope this helps!
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

I retested and could reproduce this:
- Remove from Media Library: OK
- Remove from Media Library and send to the Recycle Bin: crashes MC.
- Remove from Media Library and permanently delete from disk: crashes MC.
Deleting from the disk seems to be the problem.
-
Yeah I should have been more specific. It only happens when you delete from disk or send to recycle bin.

Thanks everyone. It should be fixed next build.
