Title: Are USB CD-RW drives unsupported?
Post by: rrmcintosh on July 06, 2003, 02:37:58 pm
Can you advise if CD-RW USB drives are supported under MJ8? If so, how??  I cannot get MJ8 to recognise my USB CD-RW drive at all and am having to resort to another product to convert my APE format audio files to CD.

Please advise.

I think it may depend on the drive

According to the GoldenHawk web page, my drive (Lite-On LTR48125W) is supported. The only difference is I have this on the USB2-IDE converter rather than direct to IDE.

The CopyToDVD software I am having to use instead supports this fine, as does Roxio CD Creator.
