Title: Playing mpeg files on stand alone DVD player
Post by: Two Wire on May 01, 2005, 10:14:38 pm
I have recorded some video files in the .mpeg2 format which play fine in MC, but will not play on a stand alone DVD player. I have shopped for a player that play this format, but am not having much success. Does anybody know what I need to do to make the files compatible with a DVD palyer?

I think the Buffalo LinkTheater may work.  Try a google search.

There are several programs that can transfer mpegs to VCD/DVD. Try Nero, DVD Movie factory, or Easy CD creator.
There are more you just have to do a google search for them.  www.nero.com  www.ulead.com  and www.roxio.com
In order to play VCD in a DVD player, you need a DVD player that is compatible in playing VCD.
