Title: APE and 8.0.388

I recently downloaded a file and got a error message saying the file contents were done using a newer APE (something) than was on my system.

Where do I go to DL a new APE (something)?

Most likely your Monkey's Audio (http://www.monkeysaudio.com) (.ape) file is in the newer v. 3.99 format. Media Jukebox 8 supports only 3.97 and older.

Media Center 10 and 11 support 3.99 format.

You can also convert it to a supported format. Decompress it first with Monkey's Audio 3.99 (http://www.monkeysaudio.com/files/MAC_399F.exe) and convert the uncompressed wave file with MJ8.
