Title: MC11 need option to turn off All in Views
Post by: jwilson56 on May 05, 2005, 07:05:18 am
I would like the option of turning off the "All" that are showing up in the Views. I am using a multizone Netrtemote setup and since upgrading to MC11 yesterday I have noticed a major slowdown for the GAC album listings. I suspect that the 500+ albums beings listed under all may be part of the problem.

Any chance we could have an option to go back to the MC10 way of doing views which would include not having the theatre view check box?

If you mean the "All (xxx)"entry at the top of each view list, I'd second that - it causes problems with sorting.

For instance, on UPnP devices the All causes searching to go funny. Of course, "All (xxx)" is the first entry in the list, but it isn't in the right place alphabetically...!

I have to agree. Make it optional or get rid of it.

I think they're aware of this, as it has been requested in the past.  I, personally, like the "All" item though I understand that some people don't.  Either way...

Bump in hopes of getting a reply from the developers.

This isn't going to change for now.  It's harmless and sometimes useful.
