Title: SO, CDDB support is NOT included in MJ 8?

I just bought MJ 8 the other day, and it let me signup for Gracenote, but whenever I try to use it I get the "Malformed response sent from Server to Client" error. From what I can tell in the forums, CDDB support is no longer available.

So Why is the selection still there? Is it possible to register directly with gracenote and use it? I've got quite a few CDs that just aren't in YADB, and I'm not into typing them all in...

Can I get a formal answer from JRiver?

don't understand... I am current with latest mj8 (almost) and am still connecting to cddb (aka Graceland).

you could try doing a web search for cddb and try registering... don't know why that wouldn't work. I haven't for some reason had to worry about it.

If you registered with CDDB before JRiver pulled the plug, I believe you are "grandfathered".
