I have read the help file and searched the forums but dont seem to be able to find the answer to whether it is possible to change the default vis from image to g-force, so that g-force is the visualization at startup.
Any help appreciated.

thnxs for the reply,
I forgot to state in the original post that i am running version 10 of media center with latest updates.
I guess from your reply that you are using v11?

Nope it dont work for me....
In standard mode i right click in the visuaization pane to get menu, hover over display plugin, select gforce from the popup menu. exit MC go back in and settings have gone back to image!! ?
Can i get v11 free as i bought v10?

hello again,
I have been doing some messing after reading your last post as this pc logs into a domain just in case that had a bearing on the issue. Having said that the account that is used to automatically logon to the domain is a member of the local admin group for that pc so if it is a permissions problem it most likely to do with media center.
Any ways, what i found is that if i set the vis to use Gforce, exit media center then open it again by double clicking the desktop icon it indeed does retain this setting.
IF however i right click a directory which contains the album i want to listen to, click media center then play, it does not retain this setting no matter how i try to get it to!!

It's been working for me as marko described since version 10. I'm running Win2Kpro. I also use G-Force as my screensaver by just hitting pause/fullscreen.
