MC 11 seems to be reloading the thumbnails for my cover art, I am sure there is a way to stop this but have been unable to find it. I have done a few searches but haven't found the answer as of yet. Please help!
-
what do you mean by reload?
They are different from what you tagged them or they load slow?
-
They seem to load very slow, loading as I scroll down.

You can have MC load all the thumbnails.... That way they will not create one at a time...
Click Tools - Options - Tree and View - Thumbnails. Select Build missing thumbnails.
Then everything should load much faster.

Thank you very much! That did the trick, I knew the setting was in there somewhere but wasn't sure if that was it. By the way, I also have an issue with manually adding cover art. I do the add from file trick and it doesen't show up, I have to do it a second time before it's displayed. Not sure if this is a bug or MC just being stubborn.
Anyway thanks alot for the help.

For some reason I'm not seeing 'Tree & View' in Options... I'm using v274; has something changed? If so, anyone know where it is?!

Something is not right. Uninstall & reinstall might help. If not, you may have to do more cleaning. This thread may help: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=26917.msg186615#msg186615
It should look like this:

BTW, you have the "Thumbnails" and other options still visible on the right side. Only the left side seems to be incorrect. If it is just a display thing a reboot could fix it.

Can you click on the Thumbnail folder it this picture?

Thanks folks! I did everything you suggested to no avail, until when I was restoring files after reinstalling I noticed I had an old 'Options.png' in the Custom Art folder, which had a different layout with fewer entries; that's why I was getting no icons. I don't know why I didn't get any text either, but it's fixed now anyway. Cheers!
