I been using version 8, 9, 10 for a long time now and want to upgrade to 11

What is the price for upgrading atm?

Do I need to install version 10 and then 11 everytime i reinstall my computer?
I remember it was very annoying from 7-8 or was it 8-9 don't remember  :D

The upgrade price was $10. Í don't know if it has already changed to $15.

MC11 seems to be $45 on the purchase page, but I can't find the upgrade prices there.

As King said you must register MC10 on your PC/OS before buying MC11. You can uninstall MC10 with its uninstaller before installing MC11 if you like to. It doesn't wipe your registration history.

Later on you can restore your license here: http://www.jrmediacenter.com/restore.html. MC10 is not needed.

In any case you should make a library backup before any changes (File > Library > Backup...). Copy the library backup file and your cover art folder too (if it is in the MC10 program folders) to a safe place.

I haven't actually tested what happens to the default cover art folder because I have my cover art files in the media folders. However, making a backup doesn't harm.

There is no "upgrade" installer.  Just use the current build from this board (the "sticky" build thread at the top of the page).  Also, just to be clear, you only need to install 10 once the first time you register (and pay for) v11.  This is just to allow you to "upgrade" from inside v10 which gives you the special upgrade price.

After you own v11, you may install it on any machine you own without previously having v10 installed.  So this is not similar to Adobe Photoshop (for example) where once you buy the "Upgrade Edition of v9 (CS2)" you always have to keep the original disc for v8 around to allow you to install the new one.

A small fix:
"This is just to allow you to "upgrade" from inside v11 which gives you the special upgrade price."

Once again:

1. MC10 must be registered.

2. You can uninstall MC10 before installing MC11. Just make sure that you have backed up your library and the cover art folder. I think this is the best way, but it's just my opinion. This step is not needed or recommend by JRiver.

3. Install MC11.

4. Inside MC11 click the Buy button for starting the purchase.

Edit

If you are going to uninstall MC10, you don't need to let MC11 scan your HDs for the media files (MC will open the import dialog if the library is empty). Instead you can just restore the MC10 library backup file to MC11. It will then restore also playlists, playcounts, etc.
