Title: Has Download Manager Gone Strange?

These things are apt to happen on Sunday mornings, but I can't get the Download Manager to sit still.  Running MC 11.0.279, I haven't used the DM in a few revs, but currently I can't show it at all unless it's maximized, and as soon as I drag a link onto it it minimizes out of sight. If I have 20 links to drag I have to maximize it 20 times.

That sure it strange. But it works fine for me.

Virus? Ad-Ware?

Thank you.  While it was not a virus or adware (that I know of), your suggestion led me to my BLEEPing nvidia graphics card, which was making a desperate bid for attention, in virus-like fashion.  The BLEEPing nvidia desktop drivers were at fault, heck-bent on self-destruction, heading lemming-like to gosh knows where.

I was much too quick to suspect the world's greatest media management and playback software, that much is sure.
