Title: Problems with licence
Post by: Uwe on May 30, 2005, 04:37:54 am
I tried to install MC 11 on my new laptop. For the registration, I got a new restore file but MC says that this file is not valid for MC 11. But MC 11 is licenced on my two other PCs... What should i do?

Thanks Uwe

You need to use a restore.  Details are here:

Yes, i used a restore, but MC says that this Restore File is not valid for MC 11. It seems to be a Restore File for MC10 although my MC 11 is licenced.

You can use the e-mail option to have your registration codes mailed to you.  That's in the FAQ I posted.

Jim,

sorry, my mistake. I have a different e-mail for my mc 11 licence (please don't ask me why) and i used my e-mail for MC 8 & 10. Now it is ok.

Interesting is the fact, that my MC 11 trial on my new Laptop has expired today, allthough it is only a few days old  :o

Thank you
Uwe

sometimes when the computer name, or if the date changes media center will detect something has changed on the trial (and may think the user is attempting to defeat the 30 day trial), and then Media Center will terminate the 30 day trial.

Glad you got it working.

Zoloft:
"Learn about depression and anxiety disorders.
Depression and anxiety disorders are serious medical illnesses that affect around 50 million American adults"

By the way, how many licences has JRiver ever sold and how many users had tried the 30 days trial ? About 50 Million?
