Title: Problem with options menu
Post by: mikel51 on June 04, 2005, 02:21:10 pm
I just did a clean system install and loaded mc11.  When I use the options menu, I can't save the changes.  For example, when I change playback to ASIO and click OK, the screen defaults back to devices and freezes.  Pressing the upper right hand windows closes the dialog box but the changes aren't saved.  Same thing happens with all other options. Same thing happens when I hit the cancel buton.   Is this a know bug? or is there something tweaky about my system.  Any suggested actions, or should I try going back to version 10.  This occured with the version 11 I downloaded a couple of weeks ago, and it also occurred with the latest build.

Try an uninstall, reboot, reinstall.  This isn't a known problem with the latest build.

The reinstall of MC11 didn't help.  I did uninstall and then try MC10 which works like a charm.  I do like a few features of MC11, so I hope that this can be resolved, but at least I can listen to music for now with MC10.  From my point of view, this is a bug in MC11 that didn't exist in MC10.

Perhaps a permissions problem? Logged-in as administrator?

Try switching skins.  For some reason, some people using PixOS have seen something similar.

Let us know.
