Anyone suggest somewhere nice warm, dry and cheap part of the world to move to which speaks English?
England just gets wetter and wetter.
We've moaned for years, but they never upgrade it.
It seems it's one of those undocumented features.

The weird thing is despite all this apparently certain parts of the
country currently have a hose pipe ban.

we had a beautiful sunny weekend in manchester.... you must just have been in the wrong place. tho i suppose it's not ALWAYS like that  :)

didn't the tories promise better weather by 2025 in their manifesto? apparently the weather has gotten worse under labour.
