Could you check the log after a crash to see if there's a problem file:
C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\J River\Media Center 11\Log.txt
Email the problem file to matt at jriver.com and we'll try to fix it.
Thanks.

It's a FLAC plugin bug. Perhaps the author of the FLAC plugin can help.
Otherwise, try APE or WMA Lossless.
Thanks.

thanks for taking the trouble to look at it :)
it does work fine (importing) if i disable flac in the file types....
so i guess it is a plugin problem....... :(
sorry for wasting yer time hopefully the flac plugin makers will fic it :) :(

Is there a thread that tracks this issue (broken FLAC plugin for MC11)? I thought this was working fine under MC10, but then the interfaces changed. Many folks would like to see this work, but don't know how to help.
Thanks,
Mike

yea i just tried the right click shell import and altho it doesnt crash.... it wont import any flac :(
hopefully the plugin guy'll get er workin again......

Right-Click import doesn't work with FLAC but you can drag new FLAC files into the "Now Playing" window of MC.
I'd certainly like to see the right-click import work but at least there is an alternate method.

Does this import them into the MC11 database, or just play them?
Thanks,
