Title: quirky little bug
Post by: danrien on June 08, 2005, 04:34:46 pm
Ok so this one is a little out there, but it's important to me since I like to listen to music while playing some games.

The game in question is Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, and whenever I play it MC11 has troubles switching songs.  Is there a way I can fix this myself, or is there something you guys can do for song changes?

The specific symptom is "skipping" like a cd player.  Don't know what else I can say about it, but it's important to me.  I haven't tested any other games.

You could increase buffering in Options > Playback > Audio > Output > Output Mode Settings. It might help. Try also different output modes (e.g. Wave Out/Direct Sound) in the same place and track switching options in > Audio > Output > Settings > Switch Tracks.
