Title: Media Center 11 Launcher.exe - Is it working?

Some time over the past few releases it seems that Media Center 11 Launcher stopped working for me.  This is what I am trying to do


C:\WINNT\system32\Media Center 11 Launcher.exe /PlayReplace u:\music\Marvin Gaye\The Very Best of Marvin Gaye\06 - Let's Get It On.mp3

Anybody else having a problem?

Past few releases? How about three weeks and 13 releases? Look at this quote:

Media center launcher.exe still works for me.
Maybe the more recent releases didnt delete it when they installed themselves.

You should delete it and switch to the new name.  It could cause problems in the future, when memory of the change has faded.

Since .286 MC11.exe is not working for me from Girder.  I changed it to Media Centre Launcher.exe and it worked OK.

So is MC11.exe broken?

ok.... I deleted launcher and pointed girder to mc11.exe

everything seems to be working.

are there any other files that should have been deleted but havent?
I noticed a "mcmimeman.exe" in my system32 directory and also in the jriver media center directory.
