Did you try restoring your license?
www.jrmediacenter.com/purchase.html
-
I did not need to because Media Center "stores" the registration info in the registry. All my reg info is there. Any new advise?
-
Try it.

Okay, I tried to restore a licence but the website does not seem to load. on this computer https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore.cgi
-
No problems loading here..... Firewall?
Are you using IE?
-
I don't know what it is? Everytime I try to go to a site that has Https: it simply does not load. Its only on this computer tho. on my other comps it works fine. I dont think its a firewall issue.

Try using Internet Explorer.

restore functions here perfectly independently of the used Browser. :)
But a Restore is not also necessarily if one its license well kept. (safe deposit) ::)

Okay, I went to the restore website, I got the install key from another computer and I installed it
and, it saids: "License for Media Center was successfully installed!" after that I went to check and, the the error is still there. I still get Critical Error #31.
after 2 min 29 seconds. Any help would be Great.

Do a complete uninstall, reboot, reinstall. Check for viruses and cracks if the error persists.

Good news! Thanks for the advise matt. I did a complete uninstall of MC. I wonder why I never came up with that idea. Then
I deleted the the whole J River directory of Media Center 11. Then tried reinstalling
Bingo. That did the trick! Thanks :)
