Title: Library Server Port Setting?
Post by: rauscs on June 20, 2005, 01:30:41 am
I just upgraded to V11, and cannot figure out where to set the library server IP port.  I go to tools / plug-in manager / interface / library server, and there is a 'start' and a 'stop' button, but I don't see a 'configure' or 'options' button mentioned in the help docs.  Is this somewhere else?

The main menu still has a tools / advanced tools / media server menu entry, but nothing happens when i select it.

thanks!
Steve

No, that is a different server, one that can be used to run MC remotely by using a web browser.  It's for couch potatoes.

Library Server is configured under Plug-ins in the tree.  Open Plug-ins, then choose Library Server, then options.  After you do so, start the server.

That's what I was hoping to see, but... when I go to tools / plug-in manager / interface / library server, and there is a 'start' and a 'stop' button, and nothing else.  Are the options somewhere else?

Wrong place.  Look in the tree on the left side of the main view of MC.

Might be nice to have all configuration in a single place. Like in Options.
