Title: MC11 capable of playing vcd/svcd?
Post by: Marty3d on June 21, 2005, 06:35:22 pm
Hi!

Just tested to make an svcd and tried to play it in MC11, without luck. So I naturally figured I've done something wrong in making the cd, so I tested it in PowerDVD...where it played perfectly!

So...is MC not capable of playing VCD/SVCDs?

Thanks!
/Martin

VCD was working with MC11 at one point.  I'm not sure now.

I actually saw a post about that...but when searching the forum, the answers were like yours, Jim...a bit vague :)

Anyone else then?

You could search for playback of the dat file type but that may be hard to find.  You could read the history file that imjustagamer has kept.  It's in his signature, I think.

I'm having a bit of internet problems that I need to work out with my ISP... The one on my site has not been updated in a long time.

If you would like to see a copy of the full file, PM me your email address and I will send it out tonight after work.

I just tried it. MC plays the first track of a VCD, but not the rest of it.
