Hmmf patents again.  I can understand original work,
but not just the natural path of technology and going

So.... Every company that uses a pane design can be subject to this law suite?

Well the lawsuit even goes as far as downloading to a portable device !

It'll be an intersting case...

This is one of those look and feel cases that drags on forever. Apple did the same to M$ over 10 yrs back. I think they reached an out of court settlement, many years later with Billy giving Steve some $150M and assurances that future M$ Office would be available on the Mac.

Will Contois be able to speed it up,  does a  the trial by jury help with this ?

Cos i dont think Contois will be able to afford legal expenses after a bit.

This case won't affect anyone else, until Apple is found guilty of said charge, it might a long while till that happens, if at all.
