Title: No sound form my rear speakers in MJ8.

I recently purchased a 6-channel sound card (currently configured for four channels) and a Creative 4 speaker+sub speaker set. The card and speakers are configured correctly.

I get good sound from the rear speakers when playing DVDs or my games. But I can't get the rear speakers to produce any sound in Media Jukebox 8. I can't find the setting to activate the additional channel in MJ8. Where is that setting?

Anyone? Surely there's a mod on these boards that knows where this setting is, or if it's even available.

Go to playback settings and choose the output to DirectSound output instead of WaveOut output. hope that do the trick

I Have not used MJ8 in over 8 months so i don't read the MJ8 forum much anymore.

may need to go into windows (control panel, sounds and devices) if your using windows XP you can select 5.1 etc... and they will work again.

i had to do this last month when i reinstalled windows xp.
