As I remember it, I used to get a message when an iPod sync was completed. Now I only see that the sync window closes. A more explicit confirmation that the synchronisation is successfully completed would be nice.

It was removed so that there would be no disruption of the program at the end of the sync. We can revisit this issue if there is a groundswell to have it back.

OK, I guess there are pros an cons for every choice. What happens now is that MC sudddenly gets out of sight, which is somewhat disturbing since I like to use MC to logically disconnect my iPod efter sync. It also means that I don't see the sync window closing. MC placing itself in the background, which is is of course also a kind of signal, but not the kind I prefer.

Tanguero,
During the sync, if you bring up the Action Window for the device, you should see the progress of the sync so you can tell how much time is left in the sync.
