When you have a playlist highlighted in the left pane, in the right pane appears the list and above that the information of that list (including some covers if available).
In the Blue Steel skin I can't read the number of files that the playlist contains. In the other ones I can.
Can this be fixed? It was alright 'till, say, version 285 or so.

I think you need to edit the main.xml file for blue steel. There will be a 6 character hex colour code in there that determines the font colour. You'll need Photoshop or Painshop Pro or something similar to get the list of codes or maybe you can get them off the internet somewhere. Back up the main.xml before editing it.

As long as you back up the file you can try changing a few things and then reload the skin through skin manager and see what happens. Try looking for a label like ListColor or something.
I can't see the file now 'cos I'm at work. You could post the contents of the xml here and I'll see if I can suggest what to change. If you do make sure you use the 'Insert Code button' when you post.

thanks for the explanation, but I couldn't figure out which of the items is/are the one(s) I want to change. The only things I want to change are the name of the playlist, the number of files and the notes.
I just tried to post the code, but then the message exceeds the character-limit.
Could I send it to you by mail?

I can't access my mail at work. If I get chance I'll take a look when I get home. I doubt very much if you can change those fonts without changing it in other parts of the skin. Have you even tried to experiment like I suggested?

I tried to experiment with it, but I do not know how the part that I want to edit is called, let alone which color I do have to take.
It's the part of the screen in which the cover-art is situated and in which de play-button is.
Hope you can help me out a bit.

Surely JRiver will fix the code if there is a bug. I don't think the users have to do that.

In a separate browser, go to http://imageshack.us (http://imageshack.us). From there, you can upload your image to their server (free of charge, and no registration required), and when it's done, it will forward you to a page with a bunch of links that you can use in forums. Have mercy on the 56k'ers and use one of the "thumbnail" links. There will be two. Just try them both. (Copy it into your message here and do a "Preview" to see if it shows up.)

To get back to my BlueSteel-skin problem. Here's how it looks on my p.c.
(especially for all you 40+ guys over there, it's an golden oldie!)

If you look closely you can see that the text on the right of the cover is hardly readable.
So, what to do?

It is legible... but it does give me a headache ;)

Suddenly this happened to me also. Here is a screenshot:

The texts should be white. They are now wrong in all skins. Restarting MC did not help.
