After much grief I finally got my iPod to sync with Media Center 11.
Last night I updated my iPod with Media Center and after a couple hours my 5000 plus mp3s finished transfering. They appear in media center under my ipod and everything appears fine.
Today when i went to use my ipod only a handful of mp3s show up. they are on the ipod in the F folders but the ipod only shows some of them.
What is going on? obviously there is some problem with the database file but i don't know how to fix it.
Can some one please lend me a hand?

If you're trying to use both iTunes and MC, try not using iTunes. You may have to start over.

Carl,
Assuming the files are actually on the iPod, try right clicking on the iPod and select 'Rebuild database from iPod'. This should straighten out the database, but will lose your playlists which can then be resynched quickly because files will not need to be retransferred.
