My computer crashed and I do not have a backup of the Media Center version I purchased in September, 2003. I do have copies of the license I paid $40 for then.
I installed version 11 but am told in help it is $26 for an upgrade. On the website it says version 11 is $40 and version 10 is available for $18.
Buying the version $10 option doesn’t come up in the help section of the program as stated on the website.
I was happy with my original version (It must have been 9 something) and would like to get back as close to it as I can as cheaply as possible. Is there an exe file available on CD for a few bucks. If not how do I get version 10 for $18.
How can I make this happen.

It's not clear exactly what you're looking for.
MC10 is available from a link in the FAQ here.
Information on upgrading is in the MC11 Price thread.
Both threads are near the top of this board.
Also, many answers can be found here:

You can find the install file for MC 9.1.319 (the last version of MC9.1) here: ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/old/ (http://ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/old/)
It's near the end of the list.
I would recomend you save it to a CD for a permanent copy.
If you had MC9.0 maybe someone else can help with that as it is no longer available for download at the G-mail account where it used to be.
However, I believe if you have a 9.0 license, it will work with 9.1.xxx
In order to get the discount upgrade price, you have to have your original version of MC installed and restored.
