Title: iPod Only Playlists are Deleted when Auto Sync is enabled- By Design?

Is this by design?

If I create a unique playlist on the iPod, and then do an AutoSync or Manual Sync with the other playlists that I have in both MC and iPod, the recently created playlist is deleted (includes all iPod only playlists).

Under the current design, yes. When you sync the playlists that are selected for the sync will be created on the iPod and the others will be removed.
