Title: volume faint

In Media Center, the volume level is very faint and distant-sounding. When I play the same music in Windows Media Player, the volume level is fine. Can anyone tell me what might be the problem?

I have MC 9.2, Windows XP Home edition. Thanks in advance.

Double click on the speaker icon in the lower right corner of the Windows desktop and check the levels.  Especially for Wave.
