Title: After iPOD Sync, Music Doesn't Show Up on iPOD?!

Hi,

I followed "larry's notes" to the T in setting up an iPOD view state and smart list.  When I sync, it takes a loooooong time (8,000 files) and when it's done, the songs don't appear on the iPOD under songs, artist, etc. etc.  When I look at the iPOD in MC11, I can see they are all there.  Likewise, when I look at them in windows explorer, all of the files are their in the hidden folder.

I have tried right clicking the ipod in MC11 and "rebuilding the database" to no avail.  Any ideas what could be going on?  This sucks!!!

Mark,

Do you have other applications accessing the iPod?

If you don't mind starting over, initialize your iPod. Create a smartlist of 100 files and sync it. See if that works and lets go from there.
