Hey all...
I have some bitmap files which get overlooked during import. When I try to import them via drag & drop or through the shell menus, MC displays the 'importing files' dialogue and then stops responding (waited over 10 min and there's only 20 or 30 files, all about 200kb). I have to kill it with the task manager... I don't have a clue what's different about these files in particular - they open up fine in pretty much every other image program I've got.
I have other bitmap files in my library and they work fine...
Anyone out there experience similar problems? ....I don't really care about these bitmap files that much, but just thought this was interesting/weird. I'd be happy to send them to anyone who's interested.
Chris

This is a long shot, but reading about this bitmap problem, i came to remember an error message I have been receiving recently on mu computer. I dont have a screenshot of it, but basically it says that "a file is corrupted or damaged and you may need to reinstall". The filename mentioned is mstmon.ini and this information is also mentioned in the message:
Section: BMPOptions
Entry: Default
Extended info:1
BMP / bitmap, see how my brain works? :-) But could this error message have something to do with MC ?

I had a similar problem yesterday when I tried dragging and dropping some folders of images onto MC.
