Title: Can I convert m4p to mp3? (itunes downloads to another format)

I have downloaded 300 songs from itunes, but I have constant issues with them, such as:

- They wont play through media center on remote computers (it gives the error that file name is too long for QuickTime), I've shortened the name as much as possible but still gives this error

- They have to be authorized for each computer you use them with

- They don't play on by ipaq

Soooo... can I convert them to mp3 or something else?  Obviously MC doesn't but is there another software?

I don't know of any software that will convert them to mp3 since iTune music is protected...but doesn't iTunes allow you to make a Music CD with there software? I figure u can burn it to a CD then convert it to mp3.

I think if you do find a software that converts your iTune music to mp3 it will lose some of it's qaulity :(
