I recently purchased an iPod which i will like to use with Media Center instead of iTunes. I loaded the drivers and Media Center connects the handheld without a problem - I then, transfer songs onto my iPod using MC and i can also see the songs if I browse the iPod using my computer but when I disconnect the iPod (Properly by stopping the device first) i can't see any of the songs or pictures i transfer! If i re-plug the iPod to the PC i can see everything withing MC. Please help!!
Thanks

How are you transferring the files? Using the Action Window? When you expand 'Drives and Devices' and click on iPod, what do you see as subitems in the MC tree?

When you expand 'Drives and Devices' and click on iPod, what do you see as subitems in the MC tree?
Also, try right clicking on the iPod and select 'Initialize' (This will remove your files from iPod). After you do this, drag and drop one file and see if it transfers. Verify the path that MC reports for the file on iPod by browsing to it via Explorer and be sure that the file is there and is named the same.

When i right click on the iPod the only option i get is "Add Folder"
Here is what i see under the tree;
+ Calendar
+ Contatcs
+ iPod_Control
+ Kiko Rofriguez (this is an album i tranferred but i cant play it! It says MC is unable to play any of the files in the playlist)
+ Notes
+ Photos
Thank you, i hope i can get this going
