I have a GoVideo D2730 DVD/Network client device. This claims to be UPNP, but I cannot get it to see the MC upnp service. Does anyone have it working ? IS it one of the 'proprietary' UPNP devices ?
It 'sees' the Rhapsody server, but they have some kind of association with Rhapsody - so that may not mean anything. I've tried a few varients on the Options - but basically the player is not seeing the server (if I start it's own server on the same machine, it works fine - so it's not a routing issue).
Any insight appreciated - I'm darn close to needing only one server product now - which would be great!

If you can get an ethereal sniff, I'll take a look. Search the forum for ethereal for details...

OK, Norton is out of the way now :)
Strange, it was blocking the uPNP stuff, but not the Tivo Server - anyway all resolved.
D2730 now sees server, connects and can browse tree structures (Audio, Images, Video, Playlists).
Audio works - can select and play.
Images/Video both hang the machine having navigated 'down' to a specific item. What's the best path for diag's from here ? The Plugin screen simply shows valid requests, here's audio working and then the requests prior to the client UI hanging. Are thre more detailed daig's which can be enabled in this screen ?

The last request from the client should have been to display the first file from the above directory - there is no mention in the log of the filename, so I assume something is screwing up in the client software s it tries to form the display request from the provided list ?!
