Hello,
We just bought a Standalone Network Hardrive (Thecus N4100 (NAS)) which is connected to my homenetwork (via gigabit).
Now all my music is stored on this harddrive (mp3). But when I want to import them to Mediacenter nothing gets imported. I see MC going (analysing?) tru the files but for some reason they don't get imported. (it works fine from my regular local harddrive)
Am I doing something wrong ?
Thanks in advance!

Please check the advanced options in Import.
Also, be sure you have the latest build of MC11.
You can copy your system info from MC Help and paste it here.

hi,
I went tru the advenced option and tried several options but still no luck. For some reason mc is ignoring the mp3's on the network drive.
I'll look tommorow to post a systeminfo/debugreport

Is this the only folder you intend to scan?
S:\Audio\Avril Lavigne\
Have you tried the right click import from Explorer? Select the folder you want to import, right click, choose MC, then Import.
-
hi,
This is the only folder just for this example.
I'll try to use the import function via explorer next monday (i'm not at my office now)
thanks!

Hi Jim,
Its works via the import option in explorer :)
Strange that it doesn't work with the import in mc itself ?
anyway, i'm happy i can do it this way
thanks
