How do you get DFX to work With Media Center. I can't get it to launch at all. Could it be 'cause I already have it for Musicmatch?

1. Install DFX for JRiver Media Center (that's another one than DFX for MusicMatch)
2. Start Media Center 11
3. Go to Player, Playback Options, DSP Studio
4. Select DFX
I have it for Media Center 11, MusicMatch Jukebox and Windows Media Player.

And then uninstall it when you discover that it doesn't work multi-zone... ;D I use RGC High Frequency stimulator for the only good thing about DFX, the clearer sound it gives MP3 files.
-
I used to have MC 9.1, which worked fine with DFX 6. Now it won't even detect DFX. It doesn't even show in DSP Studio.
Any hints?
Good vibes,
Eric

Yeah, dump it and use RGC HF Stimulator and the DSP/EQ that's built in. Cheaper, easier, better.
-
Thanks; I installed the RGC stimulator, but MC11 still doesn't detect it...even after I install it using the plug-in manager. I am using the latest build. Not sure what to do...
Good vibes,
Eric

I realy dont see a point in DFX or anything else.
Does not Media Centers "DSP Studio (Equalizer, Replay Gain & DSP)" fill the void?
What would JRiver Need To Add To The DSP To Meet Yours Or Other Users Needs?
-
King, I have no idea why, but with the RGC set to Gimme that MP3 it sounds better than anything I have been able to fix up with the equalizer.
And Friendly, you need to install the DirectX host plugin and find it in that.
