Hello,
is the "Creative Zen Touch" portable Player supported by Media Center Version 11 ?
In Version 10 it seems to give no support for this portable Player.
Maybe with a plugin and which plugin ?
Thank you

It should work and you should not need to install any plugins. If you try it, please post how it turns out.
Thanks,

I am trying a Zen Touch 40GB with MC11.0. I have installed everything that came with the device. When I plug the Zen in with MC11 open, MC thinks about it and flashes up the action woindow saying device connected. However there is nothing listed under devices for it and clicking on hand held player brings up the 'No handheld available' window. :'(
What should I try...
[One thing is that the laptop I am using does not have fast USB. However Nomad explorer works and it is listed as 'Audio Device' under 'MyComputer' from where I can access the file system on the Zen.]

Unplug the device. Then, in MC's options under Handhelds, try the Reset function. Then plug it in again. Tell MC you want it to be treated as a portable device when it asks.

Thanks for attention Jim.
Tried this and MC hung (!). On restarting tried again a couple of times. No more hanging. Action window flashes device connected, as before nothing under sevices.
MC nevers asks a question. Should it do so when you plug in device? I real wonder if it is the slow USB.

USB 1.0 isn't the problem.
Don't install any plug-ins. Just use MC11.0.309 or later.
Did you try rebooting?
Did you try updating the firmware for the Zen?

I am using MC 11.0.133.
I have gone to check for updates a few times and it seems to download something small each time but now version increase. How do I update?
Have rebooted.
Not sure about firmware updates for Zen but it is brand new.

Loaded MC11.0.309 and it is connected, auto synching, converting to mp3 on the fly, downloaded the encoder seamlessly.
Thankyou, good show. :D
