i have been trying to
purchase the license and i am doing everything that
the help menu says. i open mj, choose buy license and
it brings me to a page i enter all the info in and
then it brings me to a page that says chose which
product you want to buy, i choose mj 8.0 and then it
brings me back to the page to enter in my info again.
i am not getting any registration code or anything.
ihave now sent three emails about this and have tried
many times to do what is suggested and it doesnt work.
this is starting to get really frustrating, is there
anything you can do to help??
-
what browser are you using? Try IE.
j
-
Please make sure you're using a current version of 8.0.
-
I got the exact same problem, using IE6 and linking from a current version MJ8. Every time I submit the form, it just sends me back to the beginning of the purchase process...
-
Make sure you have NOT disabled javascript, and allow POST operations.

Also:
Have you made any changes to IE security settings?
Are you getting an error message (in red text) at the top of the page saying some fields are incorrect?
Are you running a firewall or proxy?
j
-
I am running a firewall behind a DSL router, no errors appeared on the purschase page, IE security set to Medium, Java enabled, I don't know what "POST operations" are. Thx for your help... CM
-
What kind of firewall, and who installed/configured it?
To confirm:
You click on the "Purchase" button from Media Jukebox.
It opens Internet Explorer at the page where you enter your personal details.
You fill in the blanks and click the button at the bottom.
It takes you to a page saying "Select a product to purchase"
Right?
What is happening is that something is preventing the submission of information, probably the firewall. This is done with a POST operation (most web pages use GET operations).

We just received this from our payment processor...
[REMOVED because Verisign reports the UUNET outage is over]
We expect the JRiver server to be down sometime tomorrow morning for a change in the network. It should last less than 30 minutes.

Sorry maybe those comment were removed but I've read this thread and didn't notice any jackass comments only people trying to help you.
Glad you got it worked out. And I hope everything works for you.
