Title: deleting silence at start and end of mp3s

hi

i am aware that there is an option in MC11 to ignore the silence at the start and end of tracks so that tracks are mixed evenly, but does anyone know of a program that would permanently delete the silence from the start and end of tracks?  i would be looking to do a large batch of mp3s so a batch feature would be handy
