Title: video and mc11

i have some movies on DVd (not copy protected) that i want to store on hard drive and access thru MC11. is there a way of importing these videos into MC11 like you do with music? if not how do I do it? or is it possible

Yes, rip the DVD with your choice of software.  This will create some files with .vob extensions.

Go to the folder where you saved the rip.
Select the first .vob file and right click it.
Choose Media Center>Import from the context menu.
Tag it with the movie title and whatever else you want.
Find cover art at amazon.com if you want it to look nice in theater view.
